Converted for moon operations by the addition of a trio of SHL340 lift engines with fuel cells, wide tread footings, moon specific sensor and comm arrays and a complete life support package, the GLADIATOR (L) "Lenny" is born. July 2886: Encouraged by their successful penetration of the lunar blockade, Earth resistance launches a similar mission to support allied forces in what came to be known as the "Second Martian Civil War" (2886-2888). Thirty Gladiators with spares arrive and are converted to "leap capable" type similar to the Gladiator (L). This Mars specific variant was known as the Type M "Marvin".
