• Human kind starts to reach out to the stars. During this time, there are many 'border' disputes. The Galactic Federation is formed to oversee the administration of the new colonies and worlds.

• World War IV. • World War IV ends and the Earth is deserted as worthless and uninhabitable due to the fallout of the war. The last survivors leave the planet and head into the Galactic Federation.

• First Interplanetary Dispute. • The first investigation by the Galactic Federation reveals that the Earth is recovering nicely, and open it up for colonisation. • Colonists head to the earth, and create many small cities and villages. The colonists are mainly undesirables and drop outs from normal society (criminals, terrorists, AWOL soldiers and refugees).
• The capital of Earth is set up at New Canberra, Australia. • Second Interplanetary Dispute. • Conrad Amsel is born on planet X-156. • The seventh colonisation group arrives on Earth. This group includes the Amsel family. • The Shuttoral Democratic Republic sends in forces to suppress a civil war on planet K-156.

• Eddie Amsel is born on Earth. • The X-PK 40 trials in front of Shutoral officials. • The X-PK 40 enters service with the SDR as the PK 40. • Chaos and arnarchy begin to reign on the Earth.
• A proposal to combine the PK 40 with the PKA is submitted to the SDR Development Service by Dr. Fermand Lipisch.

• The Galactic Federation, seeing the situation on the Earth, gives control of it over to the SDR, who immediately send in three battalions of the Shutoral Foreign Legion and three Police Battalions to restore order. This they do very efficiently, and soon all bandit raids cease. However the downside is that freedom for people is severely restricted, with passports required to just leave the individual communities.

• Terrorism against the Shutoral forces commences in protest against the increasing lack of personal freedom. The first independent mercenaries start landing on Earth. • The SDR research team at Bomvul und Zionel is formed. They start a program to develop a two-legged walking tank.

• Sandstalkers are created off world for use as a light armoured scout vehicle. After the conflict they are created on finishes, a lot are sold off to other governments or scrapped. A lot find their way to the black market, and then to Earth. • Earth declares its independence. • The Shutoral Army elects a puppet political power and calls for reinforcements in quelling the rebellion. • The Independent Mercenary Army reacts by declaring war. Most of the Shutoral Foreign Legion battalions defect to the mercenary army, mainly because they were formed of Mercenaries from previous interstellar disputes. • Soon most of the essential centres on the planet are under Mercenary control.
• The Spandua College of Engineering begins research on a special composite armour to help the Mercenary army. • The SDR launches its first operation against the Mercenary forces. • The 300th Armoured Mobile Infantry Regiment and the 7th Armoured Mobile Infantry Division spearhead the Shutoral response by establishing a beachhead in Australia.
• The SDR 56th Armoured Corps is attacked by Mercenary forces using th Y-15 Medium Tank. • The Mercenary forces counter attack the SDR. • The SDR forces finish establishing their beachhead on the Earth - it is nine miles in length, and eleven miles wide. • Conrad Amsel joins the IMA. • Mr Fuler Flumer, a Mercenary mechanical engineer, develops an exoskeleton for increasing physical strength for an individual. • The Capital of New Canberra falls to Shutoral forces.

• Bomvul und Zionel engineers finish their first mock-up of their two-legged walking tank. • The SDR put the request out for a new high powered driverless reconnaissance drone (of what would become the Neuspotter) to the Weapons Devlopment Service. • The Shutoral Army had nearly destroyed all the Mercenary and Independent Earth Army troops, and occupied most major cities, including the capital New Canberra. The mercenaries switched to guerrilla tactics. • Mr Fuler Flumer develops the prototype AFS for the Mercenary forces. • The Prototype AFS is used by the 1st Special Infantry Company to attack armoured transport troops of the Shutoral forces and because of its outstanding success, enters service with the Mercenary troops. • The IMA start to swing the war back into their favour, and start to retake all the occupied towns, except New Canberra, which they besiege. • With the success of the AFS, Mercenary research teams start to look into other systems to make the AFS even more fearsome, including an indirect sighting system, differing types of composite armour and a more powerful laser. • The Mercenaries open a production factory in North America. • The first trials of the SDR walking tank are completed. • The Chaika enters service with the Mercenary forces.
• The IMA start to plan for a successor to the AFS.
• The SDR prototype the TW-47V1 automated reconnaissance tank. • The IMA launches Operation "Sherbet Garden" against the SDR held naval port of Archangles. Lack of equipment and cold weather training results in losses for the Mercenaries.

• The driverless assault scout tank Krote enters service with Shutoral forces. • The SDR put an order through for a large unmanned hover vehicle to be able to take on the Mercenary AFS. The X-Pkh.103 is prototyped soon after. • The SDR Development Bureau start to consider a counter to the AFS, and look to the cockpit of the PK 40 for an answer. • The Shutoral troops introduce the unmanned Pkh.103/1a Nutrocker, which produces mass surprise in the encamped Mercenary army. The tanks were locally produced within the besieged city of New Canberra. AFS invincibility begins to fade. • Offical test flight of PK 40 with attached PKA suit by the Shutoral forces. It is classified as the PK 41 Hornisse. • The IMA 54th Fighter Group, 3rd Regiment is formed in New Zealand. • Mercenary Sandstalkers are upgraded to laser weaponry to replace their aging conventional guns and get the vehicles back to the front line. • Mercenary troops urgently deploy their new heavy missile tanks, code-named 'Dollhouse', as a counter-weapon to the Nutrocker hovertanks. • The AFS Archelon is protyped as a replacement for the Mercenary AFS. Ultimately it wouldn't replace the AFS, but would be instrumental with design ideas for the SAFS. • The first Shutoral mass production batch of 200 powered armoured suits (the PKA ausf H0 or "Heinrich") delivered to ground troops on Earth. (Performance was inferior to the AFS Mk I due to lagging SDR technology). • PKA suits engage Mercenary forces for the first time in combat, and give their Sandstalker opponents a solid defeat. The Mercenary Sandstalker is withdrawn from frontline service.
• The PK 40 Fledermaus ends its production run with the Shutoral forces. • The PK 41 Hornise goes on its first raid with Shutoral forces. Without degrading the effectiveness of the aircraft substantially, this move gave a much-needed boost to the effectiveness and mobility of ground troops. This revolutionary weapon became the main equipment of the SDR's armoured mobile troops. • The Neuspotter enters service with the SDR. • The Mercenary army besieges New Canberra. • Equipped with new equipment, the Shutoral Army switch to a major offensive. • The Mercenary's new SAFS Mk I is prototyped. • Most of New Canberra is back under Shutoral control. • By the end of November, almost all the Australian continent was back under Shutoral control.
• Elements of the Shutoral forces in Australia are sent to North America where Mercenary guerilla tactics are making resistance forces very stubborn. • The SDR send the Army Group Bark to North America to suppress Mercenary activity. • Production of the SAFS Mk I begins at a priority rate for the Mercenary forces. • The IMA 14th Armoured Hunting Regiment recieves the first four suits of the new SAFS Mk I. • Torifujio-grad, one of the last cities under Mercenary control, comes under Shutoral attack and gets overrun.
• The SAFS makes its first combat appearance with 4 SAFS Mk I suits attacking some Shutoral elements. Corporal Robert Bush easily defeats a Pkh.103/2 Nutrocker II hover tank allowing for it's capture. • Mercenary forces capture an SDR PK 41/40, and use it as the base for their experimental PK 41-5 aircraft.

• The Shutoral XK-427 Firefly makes it experimental flights. • The HAFS Jerry is prototyped and enters production with the Mercenary forces as a stop gap measure until production of the SAFS can get completely underway, many are also assigned as alternatives to the Sandstalker.
• Mercenary operations in Buenos Aires are successful. • The Mercenary 45th Independant Armoured Regiment is destroyed in North America. • The Shutoral XK-427 Firefly crashes and gets captured by Mercenary forces. • Mercenary trials of the PK41-5 begin, and end with only 12 models being built. • Shutoral troops capture an SAFS. Although it is severely damaged, it will shed some secrets to the SDR who will use those ideas in later PKA suits. • Mercenary production of the AFS ceases, with 2,315 Mk I, 20,992 Mk II and 170 Mk III units produced.
• Mercenary production of the Dollhouse ceases, with 9,376 produced. However, it will be resumed later when the priority order of SAFS is finished.
Production of the Mercenary HAFS Jerry ends with around 1,200 built. • Mercenary Dollhouse units are upgraded with Ceramic armour.
• The Falke, based heavily on the captured Firefly, begins making operational flights, and soon, air superiority goes back to the Mercenaries.
• The Mercenaries shift production from the AFS to the SAFS.
• The Mercenary army starts battlefield experiments with the HAFS Gladiator. • The SDR establishes an early warning radar system over North Australia. • The Mercenary 44th Armoured Army Regiment recieves its first batch of HAFS Jerry units.
• The SDR launch attacks against the Mercenary repair centre in Japan. • The SDR 501st Independant Heavy Tank Battalion is the first unit to start swapping it's TW-47 Krote s for Neuspotters. • The IMA begin their own counter attack operations (Operation "Super Hammer"), backed by the SAFS and the Falke weapon systems. The PKA Gustav is one of the new weapons that they encounter. • Conrad Amsel is assigned to the 14th Armoured Hunting Regiment, 1st Company. • Despite making some gains, Operation "Super Hammer" is considered a failure due to the Shutoral use of spy satellites. The Mercenaries regroup and prepare for a space assault against these satellites. • Mercenary anti-satellite manoeuvres begin - Operation "Peel Banana".
• The SAFS Space Type Fireball enters service with Mercenary space forces and is deployed for the Operation.
• The Oskar begins its deployment in Australia and North America. • The IMA recieve their batch of 128 HAFS Gladiators.
• The SDR deploy the F-Boot and Neuspotter to frontline units. • The Ze.145 Salamander enters service with Shutoral forces.
• The Mercenary army counter-attacks in North America and surround most SDR bases in Canada.
• The IMA perform field tests on the HAFS Goblin.

• The SDR deploy the PKA Fliege to the Totenkopf Battle Group which lands on the luna surface. • The IMA restore the military satellite link between North America and North Africa.
• The SDR deply the PKA Kauz to the lunar surface. • The SDR 100th Mechanised Infantry Division attempts to break out of the encirclement of the city of Super Henburke on the North American Contintent. • Mercenary forces start Operation "Faserie" in the European Theatre. • By the end of the Mercenary Operation "Faserie" in Europe, seven tenths of the continent is in Mercenary hands. • Mercenary SAFS Space Type 2 Snake-eye begins mass production.
• The SDR start operation tests of the PKA Melusine in South America. • Mercenary operations on Lunar begin using the SAFS Space Tye 2 Snake-eye.
• Mercenary forces establish a base on the moon. • The Shutoral army launches Operation "Necker" in the South Australian desert.
• The SAFS Raptor is introduced as a ground variant of the SAFS Space Type 2 Snake-eye, sharing many components with the Snake-eye and the SAFS Mk III. • The Mercenary army launches Operation "Dynamo Strategy" on the lunar surface, but it will ultimately end in failure.
• The SDR Battle Group Totenkopf reorganises and is deployed to South America using the new PKA Melusine. • The SDR attack the Shannon Village in an attempt to drive out Mercenary guerillas. • The SAFS Mk III Raptor is delivered to the forces in the Balkan Peninsula.
• The IMA discover the use of the automated command tank Konigs Krote in Yugoslavia. • Shutoral forces are victorious on the moon, leaving most of it under SDR control. • The Mercenary Army begins operations to retake New Canberra.
• The IMA launch two operations simulataneously - "Pokey Pineapple" and "Ice Breaker". These suceed in the destruction of the command and communications network of the Konigs Krote by the insertation of a computer virus. Unfortunately it also creates the malicious virus One of Pluto on the lunar surface. • The Mercenary Pkf.87 Falke II is introduced.
