Updated - August, 2005: A large-ish update! Included in this months exciting edition we have Space Combat rules and a load of new units to go with it. Note that this is just space combat and no actual rules for fighting on the lunar surface have been given yet, that - along wth the forces that fought there - are going to be in the next update. One thing at a time! In addition, there are a few new units, some tweaks here and there and a lot of the existing units have had their background and descriptions updated. In addition, the timeline and background has also been updated. The Australian Mercenary Army has been renamed to the Independant Mercenary Army (which is the correct term) and the Shuttoral Government Forces link has been renamed to the Shuttoral Democratic Republic. I know that Strahl is the more correct term these days, but I'm still holding on to the original Shuttoral for the time being. These name changes apply to 2887™ as well. Hopefully that should you going for a little while... In addition, the links page has been updated.
Updated - June, 2005: I know this site is irregularly updated, but I've had a couple of emails asking about the next update so I thought I'd issue a statement of intent as to what (hopefully) will be happening over the next few Summer months. Basically, I want to get SF3D in Space done. This would include the rules for space combat and a load of new units - you might have noticed a complete lack of space units, this is the reason. I have them all ready to go, just no rules to allow them to strut their stuff yet. So, look out for that soon.
Updated - November, 2004: Clarified the old ground attack aircraft range rule. If you read carefully under point (7.4) in the rules it states that the air unit is actually in the hex of the target, so there was no need for our house rule at all. Sheez, how many years did it take me to spot that? |
