The Känguruh was based on the PKA Gustav body, but designed to be a heavier multi-purpose machine instead of just a combat one. It's main role was that of a recovery vehicle, and it was fitted with good leg suspension allowing it excellent cross country ability and unparalleled running ability. Usually the Känguruh was not fitted with any weapons as standard, but the high output engine allowed one to be powered if needed. The Känguruh found a lot of service with night engineering teams.
The Känguruh shares the same movement aspect to the Kröte, and thus bounces at high speed, again, much like its namesake.
