The G4 Gucker is the night-fighting variant of PKA Gustav with infrared sights and a night vision sensor. The side windows deleted for additional protection, as the pilot would probably not be able to make much use of them at night anyway. In addition, the engine had some additional modifications, such as a waste heat converter to help the unit shield itself partially from IR sensors.

The G4/R1 was an upgraded Gucker. The arm shield was removed but better sensors, radio and night sighting equipment was installed to make the unit much better in its role.

The PKA Gucker was used in conjunction with the PKA K4 Ketzer and TW-47/N2 Kuster, which formed the basis for deadly night hunter/killer teams. This version may be a field modification, as there appears to be no chassis numbers available.
