Introduced in 2/2887, the "Grisly Bar" was developed as a heavy break
through suit. The "Grisly Bar" utilized the same indirect sighting
earlier developed for the Kauz. It was based on the Gustav chassis with
the torso widened to accommodate the large Maybach 590/s THMn engine
and new hydraulics for the increased weight of the new armament. Twenty
(20) 45 mm radar homing missiles were carried in twin integrated rear
torso pods. The suits, when deployed in numbers, were very effective
against Mercenary fortifications and the lighter armoured AFS.
Fortunately for the Mercs, the Shutoral forces only produced 200 of
these suits before the project was cancelled due to material shortages.
