The SAFS Mk II was simply a standard SAFS Mk I with few refinements, but it had attached a bounce pack to the back of the suit. While this couldn't provide flight for the suit in the conventional sense, it did allow the pilot to take great leaps of around 120 metres over most types of terrain.
