It features an added sensor suite located in the bulging hatch of the cockpit, a new more powerful Laser arm and an armoured/integrated rear deck that protects the fuel tanks and engine. The Snake Eye had improved mobility and offensive power but the production cost also increased dramatically. From around May 2886 mass production was started at the Australian factory and Banana Boats launched these suits to the lunar surface. The code name was Snake-eye due to the additional bulge on the cockpit lid. The Raptor SAFS Mk III is the land based ground attack version developed from the improvements made in the Snake-eye.
