Image copyright by Kow Yokoyama. In 2884, the Shutoral Nation Defence Force put out a request for new large armoured hover truck. The Sph.69 was the result. It had good operations stability and was simple to maintain. It was issued to many combat units as the standard truck. The truck had many differing roles, from simple cargo haulage, to (after being commissioned) being a PKA armoured personnel carrier (which was designated the Sph.69-P). The 69-P could carry 6 suits in the rear portion of the vehicle in an easy to load fashion. From the Sph.69 the Nutrocker hover tank would be developed.
