The XK-427 Firefly was a experimental test-bed aircraft utilising the
KH503 Firefly fuselage with modified wing structure and was used for
the testing and evaluation of new antigravity technology. Unfortunately
this craft forced-landed behind Mercenary lines and was captured.
Subsequently Mercenary army scientists were able to copy and develop
the antigravity technology and incorporate it into the new fighter
being developed at the time code named Falke.
