In 2882, when the Mercenary army declared war on the Shutural Government, they immediately attacked the SDR Foreign Legion and the SDR Security Forces and captured much in the way of equipment. Amongst this captured equipment was the PzKw.182 medium tank. The Mercenaries needed a tank with which to continue their fight and thus they produced their own copy which they designated the Y-15. The first tank company which was issued with the tank was in September 25th, 2882 was the 56th Armoured Tank Corps and they ambushed the SDR 7th Armoured Mobile Infantry which was trying to form their own beach head in the Australian continent. The Y-15 performed very well but was eventually out ranged by the larger and more powerful main battle tanks of the SDR.
